Editing of the manuscript
Proof-reading - simply goes over the manuscript to check for typeo's and missing details such as periods or quotation marks.
Fee is $.01 per word count with a minimum fee of $100.00
Line editing – is editing for things like style. It covers syntax, character dialect, realistic dialogue, verbiage, prose, etc. Line editing cleans up the language of a piece, but it won’t change what actually happens in it. Fee is $.02 per word count with a minimum fee of $100.00.
Copy editing – copy editing gets down to technical misstakes like proper sentence structure, consistent spelling, and grammar.
Fee is $.05 per word count with a minimum fee of $100.00
Note: The manuscript must be in microsoft word (only). Project is returned to your email address in this same format.
Fee is for (1) one round only that is performed by (2) editors. Should you require further editing, fees may apply. Fees are subject to change without notice.
Basic Book Cover Design
eBook cover: Cover is sent to you via your email address, with the title and author information provided, in jpg format. Fee $100.00
Print Cover: Full cover in the size requested in accordance to the printing specs is sent via email to your email address. The cover will include artwork, author name and title and book description. Fee $200.00
Note about covers: You will be given a choice of (2) two style of covers (only) to select from using the same artwork that is either provided by us or by you with 3 correction suggestions. After that, any changes will incur a $15 -$25 fee per change depending upon the complexity of the change. The cost of artwork provided by us that must be purchased to avoid copyright infractions will be added to the labor cost.
